Don't you hate when you start getting into a book and then half way through stumble upon swearing, intimate or violent content? I do. I wish I would've had some sort of warning about what I was getting myself into. This website aims to help those who wish to know what kinds of inappropriate content (for children and adults) are within the books they read.
Rating Scale Explanation
Six categories rated on a 1-10 scale.
Categories:
Violence
Sexual Content
Language
Crude Humor
Drug Reference
Mature Themes
Each category will be rated 1 -10 with 1 being a minimal amount of the above category and 10 being explicit or a lot of usage.
"RATE" equals the sum of all the categories. The closer to 60 the rating is, the higher the adult content advisory is for that book.
